Getting Started

How do I set up an account?
You can set up an account by following this link and filling out the application. Once we have reviewed your application you will receive an email to set up your wholesale login from Shopify.

How do I order flowers from Hard Scrabble Blooms?
Ordering is simple! Log into our online store to browse live inventory and place your order. Availability is updated regularly to reflect what’s blooming in the field.

Can I place my order via email, call, text or social media?
Placing your order via the website ensures you have access to all the products. E-mails will be returned when possible but there may be a delay if we are out of the office (ie: in the field or on deliveries). 
It is preferred that orders are not placed via text or social media as the full team does not have access to text order entry. 

Do I need to set up an account to shop?
Yes, creating an account ensures we can connect you with our wholesale inventory and provides tailored services.

Can anyone order from Hard Scrabble Blooms?
We exclusively serve florists and event designers. If you’re unsure whether we’re the right fit for your business, feel free to reach out!

Our Flowers

Why are there no flowers listed for a certain week?
If we are off season, the weeks will be empty. The website is updated every Thursday during the growing season.

What kinds of flowers do you grow?

We specialize in seasonal, sustainably-grown flowers that are harvested for maximum vase life. Our selection changes with the seasons, so you’ll always find something fresh and inspiring. You can preview a list under our florist resources.

How long do the flowers last?
Because we harvest at peak quality and ship immediately, our blooms offer exceptional vase life.


Ordering + Delivery

When is your ordering window?
Orders can be placed any day of the week. We ask you order a minimum of 48 hours in advance to ensure your order can be freshly harvested. Same-week availability is listed online or advanced orders can be submitted via the pre-order form.

Where do you deliver?
We deliver to shops across London, Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Chatham-Kent, and Lambton County. If you’re outside these areas, we also offer farm pickup or a city of London pick up location.

Can I shop from the truck?
Customers can shop from our truck when on delivery, though we do suggestion advance ordering so your needs are sure to be met.

Is there a delivery fee?

Yes, delivery fees vary based on distance. Exact rates are calculated during checkout.

What is the order minimum?
Our wholesale minimum is $100 per order for delivery. When picking up smaller orders may be possible.

 

Sustainability

Do you use sustainable farming practices?
Absolutely! We focus on low-impact farming methods, from compostable weed barriers to minimal packaging in our deliveries.

Why do you use minimal packaging?
We’re committed to reducing waste while protecting the quality of our blooms. Fewer materials mean better for the planet and more focus on the flowers themselves.

Do I bring my own buckets?
Sure, if you have them bring them along and transfer the flowers.

If you do not have buckets, you can use the ones we have. If possible we appreciate getting our buckets returned. This allows us to reduce costs and keep pricing down.
